I can’t stand these things, and I refuse to use TikTok. As much as possible, I just scroll by or close the article it is pinned to altogether. The very few times I’ve clicked on one, the resulting article is so poorly written as to be composed by a thirteen-year-old. There’s nothing helpful or worth learning from it, which I’m sure is the point. I used to work in advertising myself and this kind of chum (great label, by the way) seems to me to be the Internet equivalent of the Weekly World News. At least some of the WWN’s headlines were good for a laugh as I waited in the grocery store checkout line.
All the screens are killing society. I remember back in the 60’s growing up my mother called television “The boob tube”. She was so right. It’s eZy for me leave all screens but it’s difficult to keep my boys away. I use books, chess, pets and jiu jitsu to keep their young minds off screens. But they are still addicted.
Does anyone have ideas to keep my kids off screens ?
I watch my daughter allow my twin eight year old grandsons too much screen time. It is the new babysitter. So harmful especially to some kids. Get them outside as much as possible. Remember when kids headed outside early and might need to be called for dinner? Not many - if any - likely do have an awareness there was such a time.

I have encouraged everyone I know to dump Teek Took, as it is definitely a CCP spying and mind control platform. Too many, soft minded people, are staring at that sh$t. The number of young men being neutered with the help of that platform is mind boggling.
Young people should be Made to unplug and go outside to get dirt under their fingernails!

I grew up outside until after dark summer and winter. The television we watched was sometimes an hour of the flint stones on Saturday morning early.
