ROC made huge contributions and sacrifices in defeating Japan during WWII, whereas CCP expanded its military capabilities and colluded with Japanese army during the war.
(b) The US does NOT support Taiwan to abandon the Constitution of the Republic of China (中華民國）in order to form a separatist government called the “Republic of Taiwan”, which is a direct threat against will of the majority in Taiwan and the ROC Constitution which legitimizes the current government.
(c) With the clear statement being issued by the State Department, then the US government should point out that the CCP in Beijing cannot justify their military invasion based on the excuses of preventing the separatist movement in Taiwan.
(2) To establish a new coalition between US, Japan, South Korea and major European countries in order to coordinate comprehensive economic, trade, and technology policies toward CCP in Beijing in the event PLA would invade. Beijing will have plenty of time to evacuate the dire and catastrophic consequences. Now that the fact that the Republic of China will be the only government recognized by the world, the overwhelming reason stated by CCP is completely invalid.
