Problems with VAERS.

This is a useful post about the underlying mechanics of VAERS — from the perspective of the contracting companies that run it and the teams associated — but there’s one additional point worth repeating which will be chewed up below.
The same anonymous source who obtained those contracts sent me FOIA’d reports from the main contractor, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), to the CDC’s immunization safety office. General Dynamics is a major defense contractor, and these monthly reports read like a casualty report from a battlefield or a way to keep track of the body count. The thing that strikes me the most is the antiseptic, bureaucratic tone of the whole thing, reminiscent of Hannah Arendt’s treatise on The Banality of Evil where she discusses the ways in which NAZI bean counters went about murdering millions during WWII with bureaucratic sterility.
VAERS is the “Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System” hosted by HHS. The CDC provides tools like WONDER to report on these adverse events.
The biggest problem with the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System?
You cannot use the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System to track Adverse Vaccine Events because the Reporting System is not used to track “Vaccine Adverse Events.”
In other words, you cannot use the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System to track Vaccine Adverse Events Reported to the System.
What system should one should use to track Adverse Events from Vaccines?
Nothing, of course — because there are no Vaccine Adverse Events being Reported to Any System. And if there was such a system, it would be unreliable for the purposes of tracking adverse reports.
The real question is this:
Why do people think like this, and how is the thought process sold in?

But remember, we’re not in a recession, and the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System cannot be used to track Adverse Events related to Vaccines.

How many times have we heard you can’t rely on VAERS?
If not VAERS, then what should be used?
Nothing. Don’t look at it.
How deep can an ostrich stick its head in the sand?
It’s not just a cultural revolution anymore.
It’s a full throated up-ending and obliteration of ‘societal norms’ brought to you by the people who dictate ‘societal norms’ and run the systems which tell you what ‘societal norms’ are.
In other words, the evils of Marxism racing at full speed without anything to identify or measure these evils racing at full speed.
