It’s being telegraphed. You don’t even have to look that hard to see it.
There may very well be a major deflationary event coming in that pops the USD bubble in the short term — but over a much longer period of time — the decline in utilization of dollars, internationally, is going to have profound secondary effects.
Against other currencies, the US dollar hasn’t been this strong in a long time. Now, with the weaponization of the dollar in an attempt to enact regime change in Russia, other countries with perhaps spotty human rights records (or ties to the CCP) are starting to look for alternatives. The process may take a long time. You don’t just swap your financial backbone out overnight.
