How Doublethink and Doubletalk has Penetrated Business Executives
A case study in 'Doubling' as applied to recent ramblings of Jamie Dimon, Chairman & CEO of JPMorgan Chase Bank.
George Orwell — 1984:
The Party said that Oceania had never been in alliance with Eurasia. He, Winston Smith, knew that Oceania had been in alliance with Eurasia as short a time as four years ago. But where did that knowledge exist? Only in his own consciousness, which in any case must soon be annihilated. And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed — if all records told the same tale — then the lie passed into history and became truth. 'Who controls the past,' ran the Party slogan, 'controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.' And yet the past, though of its nature alterable, never had been altered. Whatever was true now was true from everlasting to everlasting. It was quite simple. All that was needed was an unending series of victories over your own memory. 'Reality control', they called it: in Newspeak, 'doublethink'.
'Stand easy!' barked the instructress, a little more genially.
Winston sank his arms to his sides and slowly refilled his lungs with air. His mind slid away into the labyrinthine world of doublethink. To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved the use of doublethink.
Doesn’t all of that sound eerily familiar?
Orwell’s 1984 was supposed to be a cautionary tale, but it turns out — it’s simply an instruction manual for how to psychologically break down ‘people’ into NPC’s that repeat the same engineered slogans, over and over, until everyone else is sick of hearing it.
When you are indoctrinated to hold two simultaneous thoughts in your head which conflict with one another, you are performing ‘Doublethink.’
When you, holding these two conflicting thoughts as ‘Doublethink’ in your mind, say two things that are in direct conflict with one another, you are performing the verbal art of ‘Doubletalking.’
This act can be performed for many reasons. Perhaps you are pandering to a particular audience. In politics, it’s often called ‘flip-flopping’ — but sometimes there are more nefarious mechanisms at play that cause people to perform ‘Doublethink’ and ‘Doubletalk.’ Can’t speculate on what nefarious mechanisms that might be for Mr. Dimon.
Perhaps some of it is liable to spill out in court as a result of their alleged partnership & financing of Jeffrey Epstein’s shenanigans in the end?
Read the Two Jamie Dimon’s below. Two, because this isn’t one person. This is one person suffering from the Doublethink Virus.
[Bold for emphasis.]
Jamie Dimon #1:
“I’m a red-blooded, full-throated, free-market, free-enterprise capitalist,” said Dimon of supporting local entrepreneurship. “I think we should applaud free enterprise and we should sing from the hills the benefits while we fix the negatives, as opposed to denigrate the whole thing.”

Jamie Dimon #2:
At the same time, permitting reforms are desperately needed to allow investment to be done in any kind of timely way. We may even need to evoke eminent domain – we simply are not getting the adequate investments fast enough for grid, solar, wind and pipeline initiatives. Policies like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) — that hold the potential to unlock over $1 trillion in clean technology development — need to be implemented effectively. The upside is undeniable: Widespread investing across the private sector will aid domestic manufacturing, invigorate research and development in green innovation, help create resilient supply chains, lift up local economies and build the U.S. clean energy workforce by up to 9 million jobs over the next decade.

Why is this Doublethink?
Because, the First Jamie Dimon says he is a “red-blooded, full-throated, free-market, free-enterprise capitalist” while the Second Jamie Dimon is implying the government needs to seize land and property using “eminent domain” in order to fundamentally change the entire structure upon which the world has functioned for a over a century.
Jamie Dimon, in this example, is ‘Doubletalking.’ Probably due to ‘Doublethinking’ himself into a stupor. A silver-spoon life at prestigious universities and never really mulling around with the rest of us will certainly do that to you.
On one hand, he’s advocating for a continuation of the system of capitalism. On the other, he’s advocating for perhaps the most dramatic form of governmental intervention into the free-market which is plausible.
He’s insinuating that the government needs to take (by force, if necessary) private property from private owners for ‘public utilization.’
This is the polar opposite of what someone who advocates for free-markets would advocate for.
The only full-throated thing to ever happen to Jamie Dimon is having been indoctrinated into the Death Cult of Doublethink.
You know who loves utilizing eminent domain laws?
The Chinese Communist Party.
Communists love eminent domain laws.
You’ll own nothing, you’ll have no privacy, you’ll have no private property, and we’ll offer to relocate you .. next to a morgue.
You don’t like it?
We’ll simply build the solar farms and wind turbines around your house.
I HATE eminent domain. They took a bird sanctuary and gave it to Walmart. They still do not pay enough for their employees to get health insurance. Who pays?
A woman donated wetlands for birds forever. They took that too. Gonna build over a thousand housing units, not homes. Who gets paid?
I sat on an eminent domain case. It is, I believe, the only civil case that requires 12 jurors. It is that important. We decided on an amount for compensation. Two years later they had not paid and were going back to court to force the county to pay.
I think John Wayne said something about you never really own anything.✝️🇺🇸
You nailed it! We truly live in a doublethink and doubletalk society. Once awakened and aware, it is so easy to identify. Starting with the current Biden press secretary and permeating throughout his administration and MSM.
