It is absolutely essential to nourish. and maintain the correct psychological mindset in this psychological war. Two essential psychological dimensions are Self-efficacy, and an Internal Locus of Control. Self-efficacy is defined as the belief that one can execute a specific course of action to achieve a goal. Internal Locus of Control is the generalized expectancy that life's events are under one's control, and that one is responsible for major outcomes in life. The absence of these leads to a mindset of incompetence i. e., I do not possess the ability-sagacity-expertise to make the important decisions in my life. These therefore must be entrusted to the elite experts. We judge ourselves to be incompetent, voluntarily asserting that we are a minor.
