ChiCom Economic Warfare Against Taiwan Ramping Up
The CCP has recently been weaponizing trade to destroy Taiwanese business viability.
As the CCP prepares its military forces in an effort to encircle, blockade, and eventually invade the island nation of Taiwan — it’s important to watch the non-kinetic battle space for signs of increasing Communist aggression.
More specifically — given that Communist China is by far Taiwan’s largest trading partner, they hold an inordinate amount of power in terms of the continued economic viability and prosperity of Taiwanese businesses. According to a subsidiary organization of the Department of Commerce called the International Trade Administration (even more alphabet soup) — Communist China represents 25.2% of the export market for Taiwan. When you factor in Hong Kong — which represents 7.8% of Taiwanese exports and is now entirely under the control of Communist China — this number rises to 33%.
Fully 1/3rd of Taiwanese exports (a drop in the bucket for the now mammoth economy of Communist China) are under the discretion of their sworn and mortal enemy.
Perhaps some representatives from these US based trade offices could spend some additional time reducing Taiwanese reliance on Communist China (a notoriously unreliable, currency manipulating, fentanyl exporting Leviathan) in order to protect the island nation from further economic aggression.
Yup, Taiwans economic dependence on China is well established. Nothing can change that. US is also dependent. Thats why confrontation is stupid.

No, sorry, the CCP is no worse than the gangsters in DC. I pity Taiwan if they fall for the same bullshit that other "US allies" did and become another pawn for DC to sacrifice to the US empire. I'm ashamed of what this country has become. We have to fix the fallen republic here before we can begin to worry about Taiwan or Ukraine.
