Bankers Are Telling You What They're Doing

Believe them when they say this is 'deliberate.'

Many experts have already sounded the alarm on the U.S. economy. But you still want to pay attention to what BlackRock — the world’s largest asset manager — has to say for a very simple reason: it’s predicting a recession unlike any other.

“Recession is foretold as central banks race to try to tame inflation,” BlackRock’s team of strategists write in their 2023 Global Outlook.

In fact, the strategists believe that central banks are “deliberately causing recessions by overtightening policy” in an effort to bring price levels under control

When BlackRock tells you the Fed and other central banks are “deliberately causing recessions” — the specific monetary policy by which this happens matters very little.

The signal is that: they are DELIBERATELY imploding the economy and the pace by which this is happening is accelerating at an accelerating rate.

But beyond deliberately blowing the financial system up — the downstream effects of this are going to linger for a generation if there are no appropriate steps taken to counter the devastation.

In the past, when the economy entered a downturn, the Fed typically stepped in to help. But due to the cause of this projected recession, BlackRock says we can’t count on the central bank.

“Central bankers won’t ride to the rescue when growth slows in this new regime, contrary to what investors have come to expect.”

Central bankers can’t ride to the rescue because if they did — by printing even more money — they will create more inflation (the very thing they are trying to stop by deliberately crashing the economy in the first place) as a byproduct.

The sword has no handle.
